Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within an inpatient Rehab unit serving PT, OT, and Speech patients across a 7-day-a-week coverage model
• Treat a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neurological, and med-surg cases at a stroke-certified facility
• Collaborate with PT aides, a PT team leader, and an interdisciplinary team including 24/7 hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy coverage
• Participate in weekend rotation (expected every third weekend, with the possibility of every other weekend)
• Participate in holiday rotation shared across all modalities
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating neurological, cardiac, or orthopedic patient populations in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with stroke-certified facility protocols
