    Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 13 Weeks

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned outpatient orthopedic patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring treatment programs support effective return to community activities.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory agency requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    • Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervision channels.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia.
    • Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
    • Ability to complete thorough clinical evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans with appropriate discharge goals.
    • Proficiency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students in a clinical setting.
    • Active involvement in continuing education and professional development within the physical therapy field.
