Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00/6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing appropriate supervision and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing (Georgia)
• Ability to complete comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and insurance guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
