    Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities.
    • Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations as assigned.
    • Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements.
    • Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervision channels.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Georgia.
    • Required specialty in Orthopedics.
    • New graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Ability to complete clinical documentation accurately and in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students.
    • Demonstrated involvement in continuing education and professional development activities.
