    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction
    • Perform 60-minute evaluations and treatments within an outpatient orthopedic setting, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements while actively pursuing professional development through continuing education and professional activities
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey
    • Compliance with all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
    • Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and ethical standards
    • Experience with medical record documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
    • Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
    • Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality improvement initiatives
