Travel Physical Therapist (PT) in Wichita, KS

Opportunity:

TRAVEL - PT (762) - Wesley Rehabilitation Center - 7A - 3:30P

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Work in a 41-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Carry up to 6-hour treatment load during 8-hour shift
• Perform evaluations and treatments including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
• Ensure patients meet 3-hour therapy requirement for inpatient rehabilitation
• Responsible for tracking time and charges for patient therapy requirements
• Work with equipment including ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital machines
• Use Meditech Magic EMR system
• Must have minimum 6 months current acute care PT experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
• Neurology certification/experience preferred
• Must be a team player with flexibility for start/stop treatment times
• Hands-on clinical approach required

This brand new 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility features state-of-the-art technology including a Vector unweighted system and a fully equipped IADL kitchen. The facility is located near the main campus and specializes in acute inpatient rehabilitation services. The rehabilitation center maintains a team of approximately 15-20 therapy staff daily across multiple disciplines including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech language pathology, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients requiring intensive therapy support.
