Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Deliver daily treatments including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
• Carry up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift in accordance with unit guidelines
• Ensure each patient meets the required 3-hour therapy requirement for inpatient rehabilitation, accurately tracking time and charges
• Utilize unit equipment including ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital sign machines
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech Magic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care physical therapy experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, and standard gym/rehabilitation equipment
• Ability to work rotating weekends (every other weekend required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Neurological rehabilitation certification or clinical experience in neuro-focused care
• Familiarity with Meditech Magic EMR
