Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Conduct 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions, designing functional treatment programs aimed at effective return to community activities
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing in the state of Florida
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation and charge entry
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and compliance with professional codes of conduct

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with TherapyBridge documentation platform
• Prior experience in an outpatient therapy clinic setting
• New graduates with relevant outpatient clinic experience may be considered
