Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of patient treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, quality patient care
Required Qualifications- Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to begin assignment as soon as possible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy role
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
