Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement patient treatment plans as directed, ensuring quality care and positive outcomes
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout their care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent South Carolina licensure must be obtained promptly
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Ability to complete facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
- Must have been separated from any prior employment at this facility for at least one year to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation environment
- Strong documentation and electronic medical record skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific protocols and workflows
