Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with applicable regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required; compact license accepted at start but permanent Maryland licensure must be obtained promptly
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting required
• Ability to complete facility-specific credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start
• Candidates who have worked permanently or PRN at this facility within the past year are not eligible for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume outpatient orthopedic or physical therapy clinic
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
