Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions as directed
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications- Active PTA license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous clinical experience as a PTA in an outpatient or similar setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
