Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other physical therapy interventions as directed
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work day shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
