Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized patient treatment plans in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington (permanent license required)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to fulfill contract quality assurance credentialing requirements prior to assignment start
- Ability to commit to a 26-week assignment
- Compliance with facility-specific onboarding and documentation requirements prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems
