Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy assistant services in an outpatient clinical setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Complete all facility-required credentialing documentation prior to assignment start, in addition to standard onboarding requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required prior to start
- For Maryland: Compact licensure may be accepted at start, however a permanent Maryland PTA license must be obtained as soon as possible after assignment begins
- Outpatient experience required
- Must be available for an ASAP start date
- Candidates who have worked permanently or PRN at this facility must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy experience
- Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings
