Job Details:
• Seasonal travel position working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1
• Weekend requirement of 4 shifts per 4-week schedule
• Work in a 20-bed PICU unit alongside a team of 51 staff members
• Night shift team consists of 1 free charge nurse and 9 bedside RNs
• Minimum 1 year of current PICU RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS
• Preferred experience includes post-op cardiac experience and venous puncture
• Operate Philip monitors, Alaris and Medfusion IV pumps
• Use Meditech as the electronic medical records system
• Perform typical unit procedures including conscious sedations, care of respiratory failure (ETT, HFOV), CT placement, and central line maintenance and care
