Patterns Hiring is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.
***The pay mentioned is straight on W2 Without any Benefits, Insurance and No Reimbursement will be done.***
*Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.*
-Progressive Care Unit: 15 bed unit. 3 Step down ICU; 12 telemetry. 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICU
-General job duties. Types of procedures required: Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.
-Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech charting, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, Continuous cardiac monitoring
-Required skills and minimum years of experience: At least 1 year hospital acute care within the last year. Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred.
-Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: ACLS preferred, current PALS preferred, NIHSS certification preferred
-Floating to other units/departments:Yes, will float to all acute units in house. Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU and ER possible
-Dress Code:Scrubs
