Job Summary:
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Phoenix, Arizona. The RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring a moderate level of monitoring and treatment. This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans and supporting patient safety and recovery.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification required prior to first shift. Valid ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience highly desired.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, and participates in patient rehabilitation activities. Initiates discharge planning and patient education from day one. Ensures effective communication and documentation of patient status changes, and provides supervision and direction to ancillary nursing staff. Maintains a focus on safety, quality outcomes, and cost-effective care. Pursues ongoing professional development and contributes positively to team dynamics.
