Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care strategies. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and orientees, ensuring compliance with safety and clinical standards to promote patient recovery and safety.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift. ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, participates in patient rehabilitation activities, and facilitates discharge planning. Responsible for timely documentation and effective communication among healthcare team members. Supervises ancillary staff, maintains safety protocols, and actively engages in professional development.
