Job Summary: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves providing inpatient care in a facility with a focus on neuro trauma and telemetry. The position requires collaboration within a team-oriented environment on a day shift schedule.
Job Details:
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend, no on-call requirement
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, 1+ year of nursing experience in a similar setting, candidates without these skills will not be considered
Types of equipment: Bedside monitors, end tidal oxygen monitoring, high flow, chronic vents, subdural drains
EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures Performed: Chest tubes, EEGs
Personality Fit: Team oriented
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information:
Unit includes bedside monitors and specific trauma/neuro care tools
Dress code: No specific color, professional attire
