TRAVEL RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

REQUIREMENTS
- Active Radiologic Technologist license/certification as required by state regulations
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification preferred
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Previous hospital, outpatient, or diagnostic imaging experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations following physician orders and established protocols
- Position patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure radiation safety standards are followed at all times
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when necessary to obtain diagnostic results
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Adhere to all facility policies, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards
