Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue used for diagnosis
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Ensure proper patient positioning, imaging protocol adherence, and radiation safety practices
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to optimize imaging quality and diagnostic yield
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient data, and image quality standards
Requirements
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital imaging department
- Experience or familiarity with CT imaging and general radiography procedures
- Strong patient care and communication skills; patient safety-focused
- Ability to follow department policies, radiation safety protocols, and ALARA principles
- Eligible to work in the United States; willingness to comply with state-specific licensure or credentialing as required
