description:
Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph.

Variable day, mid, or evening. No overnights. 4 x 10s. No set days. Start times vary. Mus be willing and able to work in the OR. CA Fluoro and radiology Certs required. Call 1-3 shifts/wk. On-call shifts are 5.5 hours, and typically follow hours worked. As opposed to being on days off.Education and Work Degree in radiologic technology: PreferredLicenses/ Registry of Radiologic Technologists ? Radiography (ARRT-R): RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA and HIBasic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA within 6 months of hireFacility Specific License/ (FLUORO): Required
