OverviewLabor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D) in Everett, WA. This travel assignment is set to begin on 09/21/2026 and will run for several weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $3,140 to $3,176 per week. Shift is 4x12-hour day shifts. Work setting is a hospital unit that provides high-risk perinatal care with Level II NICU capability and elements of Level III care.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $3,140–$3,176 per week- Orientation: 40 hours- Start date: 09/21/2026- Shift: 4x12-hour day shifts- Location: Everett, WA • Hospital travel assignment- Guaranteed hours: none; assigned shifts may be adjusted per staffing needsResponsibilities- Provide direct intrapartum care with 1:1 labor management, sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring (external/internal, including IUPC), and continuous assessment of maternal–fetal status.- Assist and circulate for cesarean deliveries; support perioperative and recovery processes as part of the obstetric team.- Deliver postpartum and couplet care, including hemorrhage management, breastfeeding support, and discharge teaching.- Manage high-risk antepartum conditions (e.g., preeclampsia/HELLP, magnesium sulfate, induction/oxytocin, VBAC management) and respond to rapid changes in patient condition.- Document in Epic; collaborate with respiratory, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response, and interpretation services; participate in on-site coverage as assigned.- May float to postpartum as needed and participate in unit teamwork focused on safe, patient-centered care.Requirements- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington; compact license accepted; license must be in hand at submission.- Certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate OR Relias Fetal Monitoring (hard stops).- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience in labor and delivery; first-time travel RNs accepted; minimum 1 year for submittal per system rules.- Education: RN degree from an approved program and eligibility to practice in WA.- Epic charting experience required.- Submittal and compliance: SSN and DOB required; provide all requested RTO upfront; background check: facility does not accept Nursys or background discrepancies/hits.- Holiday commitment: must work 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).- Ability to work in a high-risk perinatal setting and to float to postpartum as needed.Benefits and Support- 40-hour orientation to support onboarding and credentialing- Facility-paid parking- Multidisciplinary on-site support and 24/7 clinical coverage by obstetric providers and CRNAs as available- Dedicated Healthforce recruiter and travel assignment support throughout the engagement- Compliance and pre-start modules coordinated to ensure readiness- No guaranteed hours; scheduling flexibility aligned with unit needsFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
