Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor residents’ health status, perform nursing assessments, and document findings
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Perform rounds, monitor vital signs, manage changes in condition, and respond to emergencies
- Ensure accurate charting, medication administration records, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow staff to support quality care
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS (basic life support) certification
- 1 year of experience in an LTC, geriatric, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to work nights and maintain a 40-hour workweek
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a long-term care environment and adhere to safety protocols
