    Overview
    Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) travel role in a home healthcare - hospice setting in Los Angeles, California. Start date: August 17, 2026. Assignment duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,931–$1,975. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days.

    Responsibilities
    - Deliver coordinated neonatal nursing care for an assigned patient group in accordance with standards of care and the nursing process.
    - Collect and analyze clinical data, identify issues, and develop and implement a care plan to achieve outcomes.
    - Coordinate care with the health care team, supervise nursing staff, and delegate duties as appropriate.
    - Monitor patients, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and ensure timely documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC).
    - Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients, families, and treatment team to support ongoing at-home care and safety.
    - Maintain a safe, healing environment and collaborate with family and interdisciplinary professionals to optimize outcomes.

    Requirements
    - Active RN license in California or state of practice
    - BSN degree preferred; acute care experience preferred
    - At least two years of recent nursing experience
    - NRP certification required; BLS (or CPR) certification required
    - HLFS (Hospital Fire and Life Safety) required
    - EPIC experience within the last 12 months required
    - Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting and to travel as needed
