Department/Unit Overview: Sentara Port Warwick offers a unique level of convenience and comprehensive care in the heart of Newport News. Located just down the road from Oyster Point City Center and Tech Center Marketplace, the quiet neighborhood campus features a 24-hour emergency department, primary care and specialty care, advanced imaging services, therapy services, and so much more.

In the Emergency Department/Ambulatory, we have a family atmosphere amongst our team. We meet in a fast-paced environment with high energy and positivity. We treat patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric and we utilize ED Techs to assist with supportive duties.

Education

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• ACLS

• PALS

• NIH Stroke Scale

Experience

• Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.
