Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)
Location: Roswell, New Mexico (Eastern NM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP (within 4 weeks of submission)
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Status: Travel Assignment
We are seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Eastern New Mexico. This is a night shift position with every other weekend requirement. Floating may be required but is rarely needed.

Provide direct patient care to adult Medical-Surgical patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders
Monitor and document patient conditions, responses, and progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards
Support a positive and professional unit environment
Minimum 1+ year of Medical Surgical RN experience
Active RN license in good standing
BLS certification (required) AHA
ACLS certification (preferred)
