Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care across a diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures in accordance with scope of practice
- Float within the respiratory therapy specialty and to all care areas as needed to support RRT coverage
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, onboarding requirements, and certification standards — CRT or RRT, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) are required
Required Qualifications
- Active CRT or RRT credential required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers with strong pediatric and adult experience will be considered
- Active Maryland state license or applicable compact license required at time of submission
- Must maintain permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope to all care areas with no restrictions
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with neonatal and pediatric patient populations
- Prior travel therapy experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Familiarity with neuro diagnostics in addition to respiratory therapy
