    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

    Charlottesville, VA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric hospital setting, including care for neonatal and pediatric intensive care patients
    • Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures within scope of practice
    • Participate in a self-scheduling model, with scheduling accommodations made on a best-effort basis
    • Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
    • Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as required by the facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
    • Active Virginia state respiratory therapy license required (pending license accepted provided temporary license is obtained before start date; an active license in another state is required to be eligible for a temporary Virginia license)
    • Epic EMR experience required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
    • Cardiac PICU experience preferred
