Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services within a specialized Heart and Spine unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary conditions and related diagnoses
- Operate and manage mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document all respiratory therapy interventions and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the NBRC
- Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a cardiac or surgical specialty unit
- Experience in a travel or contract clinical setting
