JOB INFORMATION:
SummaryWe are seeking qualified Respiratory Therapists (RRT / CRT / RN) to join our team to educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen and other respiratory equipment. You’ll use your clinical skills by assessing patient needs and communicating your findings to the physician. Our model of care ensures patients receive quality care specific to their individual needs and medical condition. PRN positions (Per Diem/ Paid Per Set-Up): As a Rotech employee you would be able to create your own schedule by accepting the number of set-ups you would like to complete each week. You are paid per set-up which ranges from $5.00 - $100.00 per service. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Maintains a complete listing of all current respiratory patients</li><li>Provides initial and ongoing phone contacts with all respiratory patients per Rotech policy and procedure</li><li>Provides in-home visits to patients per Rotech’s policy and procedure</li><li>Conducts patient assessment per Rotech’s policy and procedure and the physician’s order  Patient assessment may include but is not limited to:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Verbal assessment (e.g., patient history, symptom review, etc.)</li><li>Physical assessment (e.g., lung auscultation, blood pressure, etc.)</li><li>Diagnostics (e.g., spirometry, oximetry, sleep studies)</li></ul></li><li>Provides patient education as applicable.  Education may include but is not limited to:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Respiratory equipment use and maintenance</li><li>Physician’s prescription for equipment</li><li>Importance of compliance with physician’s prescription</li><li>Benefits of therapy</li><li>Potential consequences of noncompliance</li><li>Potential adverse reactions/side effects from therapy</li></ul></li><li>Sets up all highly technical respiratory equipment including but not limited to:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Invasive Ventilator</li><li>Noninvasive Ventilator</li><li>Infant Monitors</li><li>Other high-tech respiratory equipment as defined by scope of service at the branch (e.g., cough assist, negative pressure ventilation, IPPB, etc.)</li></ul></li><li>Monitors ongoing function of highly technical respiratory equipment including but not limited to:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Invasive Ventilator</li><li>Noninvasive Ventilator</li><li>Infant Monitors</li><li>Other high-tech respiratory equipment as defined by scope of service at the branch (e.g., cough assist, negative pressure ventilation, IPPB, etc.)</li></ul></li><li>Maintains documentation of all services provided and all work performed per Rotech’s policies and procedures</li><li>Assumes on-call responsibilities for phone consultations during non-business hours as outlined by Rotech’s policy</li><li>Adjusting ventilator settings according to patient assessment and in alignment with Rotech policy and procedures</li><li>Supports orientation and training of other personnel at the direction of the Area Manager</li><li>Performs other duties as required by state licensure law</li><li>Performs other duties and responsibilities as defined by the Area Manager</li></ul>

QUALIFICATIONS:

Responsibilities:
OT, PT, RN, RRT, SLP, LSW The Case Manager is responsible for the interdisciplinary coordination of care for a designated patient population. The Case Manager performs reviews of all inpatient admission records to ensure proper utilization of hospital resources and determination of admission for appropriate level of care. Assesses and identifies discharge needs and coordinates appropriate discharge plan. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate achievement of desired financial and quality outcomes. The Case Manager will also maintain and enhance payor relationships.

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Education and Training: Licensure in the state where the hospital resides is preferred. Professional disciplines of the designated case manager may include occupational therapist, physical therapist, registered nurse, respiratory therapist, speech therapist, or (licensed) social worker. Current BLS certification required. </li><li>Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of inpatient experience, preferably in an acute, IRF, or LTACH setting.</li></ul>
