Travel Respiratory Therapist – Pediatric Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a 15-bed Pediatric Emergency Department, maintaining a 1:1 therapist-to-unit ratio
• Perform bronchiolitic scoring assessments and respiratory arrest response
• Administer and manage noninvasive ventilation and invasive ventilation as required
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to other pediatric spaces as needed per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric experience is required; candidates without this will not be considered
• Critical care experience is required; candidates without this will not be considered
• Proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment and ventilator management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department setting
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Background in both critical care and pediatric respiratory therapy
