    Job Title

    Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics (Pediatric Focus)

    Seattle, WA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Weekend availability required | Floating to all inpatient and acute care areas required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide respiratory therapy services across pediatric patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
    • Work in intensive care units (PICU/NICU) as well as all inpatient and acute care areas as needed through floating assignments
    • Perform airway management, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and pulmonary toileting
    • Administer medications and operate equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizers
    • Participate in weekend shifts and remain available for additional shift pick-up as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with active NBRC-RRT certification
    • Active Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner (WA RCP) license, or willingness to apply immediately upon offer
    • Current BLS and PALS certifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of applicable respiratory therapy experience
    • PICU or NICU experience required; intensive care experience is mandatory
    • Proficiency in airway management, vent management, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in trauma, Level 1 trauma, or emergency room settings; teaching or community hospital background a plus
    • Skills with high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, EKGs, Code Response, and Rapid Response
    • Previous experience in a children's hospital setting strongly preferred
    • Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
