Travel: Respiratory Therapist (3x12's – Nights)

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12's (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across Acute Care and Emergency Department settings
• Perform patient assessments and deliver treatment for pulmonary disease
• Conduct pulmonary-related patient education
• Care for inpatient populations including ED, Medical-Surgical Unit, and Step-Down patients
• Manage a patient load of approximately 20–25 patients per round within an 80:1 ratio environment
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification required
• Active Virginia Respiratory Therapy License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with Epic EMR is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Acute Care and Emergency Department respiratory therapy settings
• Familiarity with Step-Down and Medical-Surgical Unit patient populations
