The Respiratory Therapist I cares for patients in the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups and provides services in accordance with specific physician orders, department policies, procedures and protocols. This allows the individual to practice for 6 months post-graduation date or until applicant receives a failing score on any National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) examination, whichever comes sooner.
