Job Description - Acute Dialysis RN (Registered Nurse)- Provide dialysis treatments to acutely ill patients in an acute or hospital setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient response before, during, and after treatment.
- Administer prescribed medications and fluid therapy.
- Operate, maintain, and disinfect dialysis equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to develop treatment plans.
- Respond to emergencies and manage complications during dialysis.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety protocols.
- Educate patients and families on dialysis care and treatment expectations.
- Support and train hospital staff on dialysis procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements- 1+ year of recent experience as an acute / inpatient dialysis nurse experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current New York RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
