Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to join our team. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting is required.

Certifications

  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required.

Licensure

  • Active Michigan state nursing license at the time of submission.

Job Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the OR will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in surgical procedures by providing quality nursing care to patients.
  • Monitoring patient vitals and responses during surgery.
  • Collaborating with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Educating patients and their families about post-operative care.

Additional Information

This position does not require weekend shifts or on-call duties. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and effective teamwork in the operating room environment.
