Patterns Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) for a 13-week assignment in Flint, Michigan. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse looking for a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or on-call responsibilities.
Position Responsibilities
Assist the lead surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures by providing exposure, tissue handling, hemostasis, suturing, and wound closure.
Deliver comprehensive perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Maintain a sterile surgical environment while following established operating room protocols.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient safety throughout surgical procedures and respond appropriately to intraoperative needs.
Accurately document patient care and comply with all facility policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) experience (Required)
Active Michigan RN License at the time of submission (Required)
Active AHA BLS Certification (Required)
Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
