Key Responsibilities

• Float between various medical and surgical units, including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
• Deliver direct patient care across units with varying nurse-to-patient ratios (up to 1:8 on nights in the medical unit)
• Operate and utilize unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training programs for each assigned department
• Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) in accordance with dress code policy
• Provide documented proof of immunity; medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN License required by start of assignment
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Documented proof of immunity required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Procedural Sedation certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
