We are seeking an experienceddedicated and skilled RN Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will create an environment where frontline nurses and support teams deliver safe, compassionate, complication-free care while driving operational excellence and employee engagement. This leader maintains a highly visible presence within the department and partners closely with physicians, charge nurses, and executive leadership to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Build and mentor a high-performing Labor & Delivery team
Recruit, coach, evaluate, and retain exceptional nursing talent
Foster accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
Partner with educators and unit champions to support ongoing staff development
Ensure safe, evidence-based patient care practices
Monitor quality metrics, patient outcomes, and regulatory compliance
Lead daily interdisciplinary rounds and coordinate patient care activities
Resolve patient care and operational concerns efficiently
Manage staffing schedules and unit coverage
Authorize overtime and staffing adjustments as needed
Support patient throughput initiatives and discharge planning
Maintain department readiness and emergency preparedness standards
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) — Required
Master’s Degree — Preferred
Labor & Delivery background — Required
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience — Required
Acute care hospital nursing experience — Preferred
Active California RN License — Required
BLS Certification — Required
NRP Certification — Required
EFM Certification — Required
Preferred:
National specialty certification in nursing leadership or maternal care
