Operating Room RN Circulator Educator
Location: Hermiston, Oregon
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
A respected community hospital in Eastern Oregon is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator Educator to lead clinical education and elevate perioperative practice across the organization.

Education & Training Leadership
Design and deliver engaging education programs for perioperative staff
Teach clinical concepts using adult learning principles
Lead onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing staff development
Simulation & Clinical Innovation
Utilize simulation tools (mannequins, software) to enhance clinical readiness
Create realistic learning scenarios that strengthen critical thinking and safety
Collaboration & Program Development
Partner with leadership to assess learning needs and build targeted programs
Align education initiatives with departmental and organizational goals
Collaborate with Quality teams on performance improvement strategies
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Evaluate effectiveness of training programs using measurable outcomes
Identify opportunities to improve clinical performance and patient care
Support organization-wide quality initiatives
Professional Excellence
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassionate care
Maintain strong communication, organization, and professionalism
Ensure compliance with ethical and patient confidentiality standards
Education
BSN required (or commitment to obtain within 3 years)
MSN strongly preferred
Licensure & Certifications
Active Oregon RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
CNOR required
Experience
5+ years of hospital nursing experience
3+ years in the Operating Room
Prior education, training, or precepting experience preferred
Simulation-based training experience strongly preferred
Skills
Curriculum development and instructional design
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
