We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Travel Med/Surg assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
**Assignment Details:**
* Specialty: Med/Surg - Surgical Unit
* Location: Urbana, IL
* Shift: Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
* Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
* Contract Length: 13 Weeks
* Start Date: 07/13/2026
**Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-operative surgical patients.
* Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
* Monitor and care for patients with tracheostomies, wound vacs, and ostomies.
* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
**Requirements:**
* Active Illinois RN License.
* Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
* Trauma Level I experience required.
* Epic EMR experience required.
* BLS Certification (AHA).
**Education:**
* Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
* BSN preferred.
