Our Carle Nurse Residency Program includes the following practice settings: Medical/Surgical: Cardiac-Surgery, Cardio-Pulmonary, Oncology, Orthopedics, Advanced Care, Medical-Surgical, Observation, and Clinical Decision Unit with expanded opportunities in Home Care and Hospice. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Nurse Resident functions as a support to the licensed nursing staff and performs activities related to the personal care and hygiene needs of an assigned patient group.
