Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
Location: Orange, CA 92868
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 4×10 hours or 3×12 hours
On-Call: Approximately 8 days per 6-week schedule
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to support surgical procedures in an acute care hospital Operating Room.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of scrubbing and circulating experience.
At least 1 year of relevant RNFA experience, with additional OR experience.
Proficiency in robotic, bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedic/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecological surgeries.
Current California RN license and BLS certification.
CRNFA certification as listed in the requirements.
Travel experience is not required.
Preferred Experience
Cardiovascular and vascular procedures, including CABG, AAA repair, EVAR, and carotid procedures.
Transplant surgeries, including kidney, liver, heart, and lung.
Advanced robotic and laparoscopic procedures.
On-Call Responsibilities
Weekday kidney call: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
Weekend kidney call: 24-hour coverage, 6:00 AM–6:00 AM.
Weekend and holiday general call: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
No kidney call on holidays.
Note: The listed shift timing of 12:30 PM–8:00 PM should be confirmed with the facility, as it does not total 10 hours.
