Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology position requiring recent IV sedation experience and ICU, ER, or PACU background.

Details

• Radiology department providing special procedures care, primarily administering IV sedation to patients
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week, Monday through Friday 7a-5:30p

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in radiology special procedures or equivalent ICU, ER, or PACU background
• Radiology RN experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide IV sedation and nursing care to patients undergoing special radiology procedures
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former perm staff must have a 2-year break in service before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
