Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to support patient goals and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Kansas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
• Previous clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Ability to work day shift hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
• Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid requirements
