Job Summary: Speech Language Pathologist (Acute Care)

- Provide speech-language pathology services within the Mohawk Valley Health System.
- Primary areas of care: inpatient hospital, acute rehab, and outpatient clinic settings.
- Responsible for patient coverage across various care settings as needed.
- Inpatient acute hospital experience preferred.
- Experience with video fluoroscopic swallow studies preferred (not required).
- Conduct swallowing bed evaluations (required).
- Flexible to move with patient loads and cover different settings as assigned.
- 8-hour shifts (8:00AM - 4:30PM); weekend rotation as determined by department need.
- Travel within a 75-mile radius required; local rate applies for those within 75 miles.
- Must have:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- NY State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of clinical fellowship year
