Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients within a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and clinical best practices
- Document patient progress and clinical findings accurately using the facility's EMR system (ProTouch)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support optimal patient outcomes
- Float to a nearby LTAC facility as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility to practice in the state of Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or required per facility credentialing
- Minimum of 1 year of professional SLP experience
- Ability to work a Monday-Friday daytime schedule within a structured clinical environment
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn electronic medical record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an acute hospital or long-term acute care (LTACH) setting
- Familiarity with the ProTouch EMR platform
- Experience managing complex, medically involved patient populations
