Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language pathology services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic disorders
• Document patient progress and clinical findings accurately using facility EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Float to additional facility locations as needed to support patient care coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of California
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
• Ability to work a Monday through Friday daytime schedule
• Compliance with facility dress code requirements (Navy Blue Scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) environment strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Protouch EMR system
• Seasoned clinical background with the ability to adapt across multiple facility locations
